Liberty Lofts is a privately owned and professionally managed community that leases out apartments to the university for students to live.
You can select your roommate(s), or you can apply on your own and we can match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of lifestyle questions to help in the matching process.
Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at Liberty Lofts has their own individual contract, with one person per bed space. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your apartment are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom.
Each resident at Liberty Lofts pays a flat rate that includes: Furnishings High-speed Internet & Cable Streaming Water/sewer Washer and dryer in each apartment 24-hour on-site management Community features — fitness center, clubhouse, etc.
The spacious accommodations at Liberty Lofts offer 3 bedroom 3 bath apartments that are upgraded or standard with a private bathroom for each bedroom.
Yes, all apartments at Liberty Lofts have a furniture package that includes a full size XL bed, dresser, desk and chair in each bedroom, and a sofa, chair, bar table w/ 3 stools, coffee table, entertainment stand in each living room.
The standard term is August 19, 2022 to July 31, 2023, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Other alternate dates may be available in limited availability; please inquire with our staff.
After a Housing Agreement is signed, each resident is required to secure their financial obligation in one of these ways: by providing a qualifying guarantor (often a parent); by prepaying the final 2 installments. In limited cases, we may also waive the requirement for a financial guarantor if a resident has sufficient income and credit of their own.
Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. Liberty Lofts also offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time, and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.
Your living costs at Libert can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at University House. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.
Nearly all the residents at Liberty Lofts are students at Texas Christian University. The per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Nonetheless, Lib is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. Family members are welcome as well, subject to occupancy limits. Because of the need to match student roommates, non-students must apply together with enough roommates to fill the desired apartment.
Liberty Lofts has a fire sprinkler system, front door locks plus individually locking bedroom doors. Management staff are also on-site and can be reached by a 24-hour for emergencies .
Liberty Lofts is pet-friendly, subject to restrictions on animals and breeds. The community is smoke-free in all indoor areas. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of roommates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.
Liberty Lofts offers gated community access for everyone garage parking for an extra charge.
The TCU campus is less than 1 mile away, an easy walk to campus. Rideshare bikes are also available at bluebonnet circle park to rent. Trinity Metro is steps away from our property and is always available. ZIPZONE is a new feature offered by Trinity Metro. A ridesharing transit solution that uses smartphone technology and a fleet of dedicated vehicles to provide trips within specific service boundaries. This convenient on-demand option gives you the flexibility to travel when you choose rather than committing to a preset schedule. ZIPZONE allows you to request trips in real time through the app or over the phone by selecting a pickup point and destination. Your fare covers your travel from your location to the pre-set destination you select when booking your ride. This is a flat-fee service. The price will not increase based on your location or service.
